Sky Rebels on TripAdvisor
Since Sky Rebels began our journey more than five years ago; our personal commitment was that our own customers recommended us. That’s why, from the first moment, we made our profile public on the TripAdvisor platform. After this time, and after receiving our Certificate of Excellence for the fifth consecutive year; we are honoured to also enter the Hall of Fame.
In fact, for us, the most important thing has been to listen to the people who come to live unique experiences in Gran Canaria with Sky Rebels. That is why we have always been open to your opinions and suggestions.
Our beginnings. Why “Rebels”?
At the beginning of 2012, we began to forge the idea of creating our own company of tourist activities in Gran Canaria. We were clear that we wanted to do something different and out of the classic methods of selling and executing excursions on the island. After residing in Maspalomas for many years, we were – and we are – people who like to travel and to know new places beyond the crowded and totally commercial tourist circuits. We wanted to offer something new, different … in short, we wanted to “rebel”.
Powered paragliding experiences in Gran Canaria
The beginning was not easy. We had to overcome many administrative obstacles to get all the necessary permits to legalize our company. This included permits from the Government of the Canary Islands, from AESA, from the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana; permits to manage our own private flight field, insurance, etc.
After just over a year, at the end of 2013, Sky Rebels began its journey. We were – and actually, we continue to be – the only company in Gran Canaria that has all the permits and all the legal guarantees to fly in paratrike (powered paragliding) in Gran Canaria. And from the beginning, the results and the feedback we received from the people who come to fly with us has been excellent.

Currently; in addition to offering tandem paratrike flights over Maspalomas, we also have guided private excursions to discover Gran Canaria and its authentic essence; avoiding commercial stops and crowds. We take care of all the details included in these tours authentic homemade Canarian food.

The fact that Sky Rebels enters the TripAdvisor Hall of Fame is not just our merit. Without a doubt, we have to thank all the customers; who rely on us every day to live unforgettable experiences during their visit to Gran Canaria.
